Brett Ireland | Director | Contracts Manager
Brett offers over 30 years hands on experience in the family business. Today Brett is responsible for the management and construction delivery of our projects including financial management. Additionally Brett specialises in contract implementation, including the development of Traffic Management, Health & Safety, and Quality Plans. Brett has been at the forefront in developing company procedures and processes that provide efficiencies in preparing construction methodologies, attending to contract administration requirements and on-site testing and inspection.
Anton Ireland | Director | Contracts Manager
Anton specialises in roading and reinstatement works. He has project managed a large number of subdivision and council roading contracts and leads teams to produce high quality workmanship and defect free delivery. Additionally Anton has been responsible for some of the biggest shear key constructions in Auckland. With over 30 years in the earthworks industry, Anton has developed strong relationships with clients, council representatives and geotechnical engineers. Anton role also includes financial management of projects.
Kath Bakker | Administration Manager
Kath provides valuable managerial support to the company directors and off-site administration support to the project teams through administration of office and project systems and accounts. Additionally Kath is responsible for administration of health and safety system. Kath is highly experienced and knowledgeable in the operation of West City’s accounting and reporting systems. Being well informed on all projects, Kath is able to respond to clients financial enquires confidently, promptly and accurately. Kath joined West City Construction in 2004.
Barry Hill | Site Supervisor
Barry brings over 40 years experience to the operation – twenty of those being with West City Construction. Barry is very skilled at identifying and solving any on-site issue and is regularly called on to provide valuable input during initial site inspections and design project. Barry’s wide experience in drainage and civil works ensures that all work is carried out to a high standard, safely. Barry has a strong health and safety focus and ensures all staff participate in maintaining a safe working environment.
